Hourly Rate – the hourly rate for utilizing our PortHill Networks Technicians with diagnostics, repair or install, billed in 30 minute increments. The travel time for onsite services are considered from Livonia, Michigan, our Headquarters and is billable from that starting location.
For Service requests, there is a 2 hour minimum purchase for new customers due before the start of the project.
For our Consultation services only, the rate is billable with a 1 hour minimum.
This is generally recommended for new clients that will need to determine if they require project pricing at a quoted rate for bigger projects requiring more demand of labor hours for resolving the issue. For example, structured cabling or upgrades to your current infrastructure.

A Consultation is conducted prior to service request fulfillment or any diagnostics. A consultation usually takes 15-30 minutes and is billable at the rate of service fee and will generally lead into the service or repair requested.
This rate applies Monday through Friday 10:30am until 6:00pm Eastern Time.
Any work performed outside of normal business hours or on holidays will be billed at a higher rate, stated and applicable based on the level of technician required.
When you purchase a block of hours, those hours are credited to your account for use during our regularly scheduled times. Unused hours purchased expire 90 Days from the date of purchase.
Warranty – Due to the nature of the work that we perform, there is no warranty on hourly work. Each hour that we work is billable regardless of the outcome of the work completed. While we advise and make recommendations on the level of effort required to implement a solution or fix an issue, it is your responsibility to inform us if there is a cap on the number of hours we spend per project or service request.
Any products required for purchase must be purchased by PortHill Networks, we don’t operate on hardware purchased by the client during our service request. You cannot purchase the equipment during our diagnostics and consultations or after our recommendations and request us to work on that. We only purchase equipment through our approved vendors and hardware suppliers. Retail or consumer products are not supported or recommended for business enterprise applications or services. Recommendations and other considerations for this are subject review by the Technical Officer on a project by project basis. We recommend that you request the consultation to determine if your current hardware is supported by PortHill Networks.
